Hello snookums, aka the project update
It’s late and I’m loopy after finishing a story in which one of the heroes throws a house at the villains. Now I’m listening to an interview with Nick Lowe on NPR. Why I’m still up, I don’t know, but a fellow writer asked me tonight about the blog and why I hadn’t updated it.
Okay. Update time.
Working hard on the Secret World Chronicle (as in the story above), for reasons I cannot reveal but you can probably guess.
Working hard on the “new frontier” story, which seems to compel me the most. It’s at that “make or break” point for me, which seems to happen around 35,000 words (about 1/3 of an average to long novel). Fortunately for me I have plotted this book out in some detail. Er, except for that pesky part in Alaska.
Need to buckle down and get to writing the rock and roll/spec fic story for the Subatomic anthology. Ugh!
Also I have to begin the promo push for The Bloodbaths.
The Golden Greats are awaiting the CDs of “Great Moments in New Directions.” Then we’ll have a CD release party. The Scree, meanwhile, are beginning to prepare for studio time.
And I made a pot roast.
