The Bloodbaths cover

That's right! The Bloodbaths has been approved at the printer. Subatomic will be ordering a box of 'em for me to use for promotions and on the spot book sales.

To say I am excited would be an understatement. I am gnashing at the bit to start some serious book promotion. Would that I had longer, but in the case of small press releases, I don't think a long lead time does any good. Most reviewers who will review a new author are not fussy about live dates, as long as the book isn't ancient. Also, in the spirit of Promo 2.0, many of my targets are blogs rather than the few sci-fi/fantasy outlets remaining.

The lion's share of the promotional work will be done by our system of "try before you buy." I really believe in this approach; you'll see it frequently over the next five years, with bigger name authors.
