Eagles Fly! USA! USA!

Courtesy of BoingBoing, an segment of an informational news show where the crew had to improvise with an audio-damaged interview. Their solution? Write a tribute song to Eagles in the finest tradition of Team America. Laugh out loud brilliant, especially when, for lack of anything better to sing, the lyrics describe the scene: “Eagle moustache/ Eagle snow” (picture of a mustachioed game warden on a snowfield with an eagle in hand).

When I was in Juneau, Alaska for a wedding, the thrill of seeing these massive birds diminished in the span of an hour. They were everywhere you looked. Strange to become blase about a rare national symbol.
